Chronic Disease Innovation Fund 

The Chronic Disease Innovation Fund is designed to addres the root causes of chronic disease. The Fund is available to community groups working in partnership with community health boards and any other organizaion(s) that financially or in-kind support the project. Projects should address the modifiable risk factors for chronic disease. Please visit the CDIF website for more information and to download the application form.

Must Watch Video's!

Get The Town Growing - Is an exciting new community-based project in Antigonish. A group of volunteers came together to plant edible food all around People's Place Library as well as in some flower beds around the town! The Antigonish CHB is proud to have contributed Wellness Funds toward the start-up of this exciting and progressive community project!

When I Climb Out - This beautiful video was created as a resource for those looking for mental health services in the region while addressing the stigma of mental health issues. Created by the Nova Scotia Health Authority and supported in part with Wellness Funds by the 3 local Community Health Boards!

Let's Start a Conversation About Health - This video highlights that HEALTH is about much more than access to health services. It highlights that individual and community health is influences by social and economic factors such as access to education, jobs, transportation and social supports.
